Rechtzeitig zu den beginnenden Herbstdepressionen fällt auch mir auf, das Xiu Xiu ein neues Album herausgebracht haben, mit dem sich das Scheitern noch besser geniessen lässt. Dazu gibt es auf der Band-Homepage eine

Poster-Serie »of 24 pieces,
inspired by this album and Xiu Xiu. At this time, 19 of the

The first section is about the album itself, the second is
inspired by the song titles, and the third is about Xiu Xiu.«

Wieviel Kunst und Verkaufsargument hier mitschwingt, darf der Betrachter selbst entscheiden. Eine weitere Minute Langeweile wegzuklicken gelingt allemal.
